As my Blog's title suggests, I will attempt to produce a view of the world - even if it is my view.
I like to label myself as a Geographer: mostly because I love the completeness and how easy it is to understand the subject and to relate to it - and because I want to do the subject at Uni!
But enough of that!
Aeroplanes are beautiful. They're functional. They do their job
But they rarely look like this!
Michael Markieta, a transportation planner at global engineering and
design firm Arup, has spent the past year developing visualisations of
flight paths crossing the globe.
This is what has been produced, and one can see just from this the interconnectivity of the whole world, and how the 3 main global cores: N. America, Europe and E. Asia are interconnected.
But from this, one can also see the newer developing areas, or semi-peripheries: Dubai (Middle East) and Brazil (S. America). You could be mistaken for thinking that the globe is only inhabited in the northern hemisphere!
It makes the hearts of the Globalists melt in joy and the souls of the eco-warriors burn and become hate-filled! But, to be honest, I don't care!
Anyways, I'll leave you with the rest of the photos! Enjoy:
